Most of us grew up going to high school, which means that most of us grew up going to P.E. class and being “required” to join in on all the individual and team sports that were offered in the school curriculum. Back in those days, it was hard to work up the enthusiasm to genuinely enjoy such activities, but strangely as an adult, it’s become quite the thing to be a part of a recreational sports team. Bowling used to be something that you would do on the weekends with your friends when the parent or student allowance came through. Like bowling, its another sport that can also be played year round, even though it’s outside – if its good weather, then its golfing weather. The third and final social sport you should try is a bit more active, but just as fun and an awesome way to get social and recreational. Soccer is such a globally recognized and loved game that you won’t have any trouble finding like-minded people in your team – and if you haven’t learned to love soccer yet, it won’t take long once you get started. You’ll also have every opportunity to get a lot of running in – and if you’re someone who is looking for a social sport that’s also going to maintain that exercise, you’ll have no trouble playing soccer.
